SustAInLivWork is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in Lithuania, specialising in the development and deployment of advanced research and innovation (R&I) solutions based on artificial intelligence (AI) to promote sustainable living and working.

We strive to develop Explainable AI (XAI) to enhance the transparency and explainability of AI systems by providing explanations of their outputs and actions, enabling people to understand the reasons behind AI results and ensuring that AI-driven decisions are trustworthy.

Our goal is to develop AI systems that are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable, considering the long-term impact of these technologies on the planet and society.

We aim to ensure that AI systems are developed and deployed in line with ethical principles and values, carefully considering the ethical implications of AI technologies and ensuring that they are consistent with human values, rights and societal norms.

To create and operate the SustAInLivWork CoE for Sustainable Living and Working specialised in the development and application of R&I solutions based on AI in the manufacturing, energy, health and transport sectors.

Enhance Lithuania’s capabilities in AI solutions to achieve sustainability goals, developing and promoting the uptake of advanced AI technologies and sustainability strategies of advanced partners across Lithuania, the Baltic Sea Region and beyond.

SustAInLivWork is a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Sustainable Living and Working (SustAInLivWork) based in Lithuania, based on the collaboration of key national partners (KTU, VILNIUS TECH, VMU, LSMU) and innovative international partners (TAU, TUHH).
